ISCEA SCTECH Preview: Learning to Lead
The ISCEA Supply Chain Technology Conference & Expo is an annual gathering of supply chain, operations, engineering and financial professionals coming together to share cutting edge technologies and best practices focusing on efficiency and profitability.
A study conducted by ISCEA over the last three years concluded that ISCEA members were looking for a holistic event that covers both supply chain and technology, thus the genesis of SCTECH. ISCEA is uniquely qualified to organize an event like SCTECH given ISCEA’s thought leadership position in supply chain and technology. SCTECH will also include events to recognize supply chain excellence via the Ptak Prize, educational workshops, a career fair and many competitions. Additionally, SCTECH will host a venture capital session for supply chain technology startups to showcase their solutions to investors.
SCTECH EXPO will feature leading companies showcasing cutting edge technologies. For example, NeoGrid – a provider of B2B supply chain management solutions to major organizations such as Kellogg’s, Redbull, Whirlpool, Danone, Pepsico, Best Buy, 3M, Bayer, General Mills, Heinz, Heineken, Syngenta and others – will be exhibiting at 2016 SCTECH. Most of the NeoGrid customers are also ISCEA customers.
Keynote sessions by leading researchers and trendsetters in the field, including both academics and practitioners. Featured keynote speakers are Dick Ling, the creator of S&OP; Carol Ptak, the global authority on demand driven supply chain planning; and Miguel Abuhab, the founder of NeoGrid.
2016 SCTECH Conference is chaired by Dr. Erick Jones, Ph.D., Professor, Graduate Advisor for MS Logistics Department of Industrial, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington.
SCTECH is affordable. The EXPO only ticket is free, and it includes many other free sessions. The 2016 SCTECH Conference is priced affordably at $349 with much volume discount options. Workshop fees range from $99 to $3,300.

Getting face to face with others who are looking to learn, advance in their professional life, meet other professionals in the industry, and evaluate solutions is an invaluable tool for success.
Co-located Events
ISCEA is working to make SCTECH the venue of choice for organizations to hold their annual conference. The 2016 SCTECH will co-locate three such conferences and events:
• Ptak Prize Awards
• Demand Driven World
• Exepron Annual User Conference
Over the next five years, ISCEA plans to have about 10 co-located conferences and events at SCTECH. Given the budget and time constraints, ISCEA believes that co-located events bring much ROI for attendees. Co-located event organizers also benefit by having the full access to ISCEA global sales, marketing and operational resources.
Ptak Prize Awards
The 10th Annual Ptak Prize Award Reception will be held on July 18 from 6:00PM-10:00PM at the Navy Pier. This is an invitation only event with a limited number of tickets available for purchase. Winners of the Ptak Prize for Supply Chain Excellence from around the world will be attending this reception. Some of the past winners include organizations such as Honeywell, GENCO, Indian Oil and the Tamer Group.
Demand Driven World
The Demand Driven World Conference is co-located at 2016 ISCEA SCTECH in Chicago July 19-21, 2016. Demand Driven World provides an opportunity for people from all around the world to come together and share DDMRP experiences and case studies.
